The opening track of this album was an outake created from an old reel to reel tape that I found in Tow Truck Bob's warehouse. Bob had hundreds of reels in his flea market warehouse, and me being a "found sound" fiend of sorts, paid him a fee of 25 dollars to take home any reels I found while digging around his place. As luck would have it, and by complete coincidence, the first reel I pulled out later that night when I got back to my lab, was a bunch of demo commercials from the 50's about Antioch Motors! I could not believe it!!! I asked my guitar player, the venerable Mr. Luke Skeels, to play a "Country sort of ditty". One take. I sampled the old commercial and this track came into creation. One of the funnest moments I have ever had creating music was when I put the reel on the tape player and heard that voice of ol'Joe Dokes.
